Hey guys, I've really enjoyed my trip so far, but now it's time to take a short break and enjoy a little vacation in the mountains. I've been to three of the western provinces already, and I'll be in the fourth one as of Tuesday morning, visiting my favourite city in Canada! If you'd like to see me while I'm in Vancouver, please email me, and let me know when you'd like to get together; I won't have email access very often while I'm in my vacation, but I promise I'll get back to you whenever I can, and no later than the morning of Tuesday, May 22 (when I arrive in Vancouver).

Until then, I'm off to enjoy the beauty of the Canadian Rockies! Thanks to everyone who has made my trip so much fun so far, and I'm looking forward to seeing all my friends in Vancouver very soon. :-) 

Hey guys, I've been having a lot of fun on this last trip, and I've met lots of awesome people while I've been away. I'm glad I visited the three new cities (Winnipeg, Regina and Edmonton) and I'll likely come back to all three of them at some point. Thanks for making your respective cities so enjoyable! 

Now, I'm back in Calgary for the next few days, before I take my own little vacation for the long weekend. I won't be online much between Friday afternoon (May 18) and Tuesday morning  May 22), so if you're trying to get in touch with me, don't take it personally if I don't respond right away. I'll be available in Vancouver as of Tuesday afternoon.

Anyways, thanks again for making these western cities so much fun for me to visit, and I promise I'll come back soon. :-)

Hey guys, it's been a couple of weeks since I've posted here, so I wanted to put up a few updates and let you know what's been going on. First, I've finally finished the semester, and I'm free from classes fIor the next year! I'm very much looking forward to this sabbatical, and I'm going to do a lot of travelling across Canada before I head back to graduate studies in 2013. So, that means I'll have lots of opportunities to meet new and interesting people, which is my favourite part of what I do! :-) 

Second, I'm almost ready to start my three-week tour out west! In case you haven't seen my other posts, I'll be in Winnipeg from May 7-10, Regina from May 10-13, Edmonton from May 13-15, Calgary from May 15-18, and after a mini-vacation from May 18-22, I'm wrapping things up in Vancouver (my favourite city!) from May 22-25. It's too bad my Canucks got knocked out in the first round, or I totally would have tried to go to another playoff game - it would have been the third year in a row that I got to see the 'Nucks in the playoffs, but I guess it just wasn't meant to be. Oh well, there's always next year! :-)

Lastly, I've been falling behind on my emails lately, and I apologize to anyone who feels like I've been ignoring them or anything like that, I promise it's not my intention to do so. I've just been really busy with a lot of important projects over the last two months, and unfortunately, it's my email response time that always seems to suffer when that happens... I promise I'll be more on-the-ball as I get ready for my tour (which starts next week, I can't believe it's almost here!). 

Anyways, thanks for reading, and for your understanding as I dig myself out from under all the emails... your patience is always appreciated. Hope to hear from you soon!

Hey guys, I'm back from Halifax, and enjoying the lovely weather that Toronto has had for the last week or so, but now I'm planning more visits to other cities. I had to cancel my last trip to London because of circumstances beyond my control, but I'm happy to say I'll be coming back to the Forest City next week!
